Will the zerg be able to create these during their campaign? I just think lore wise it would be interesting to infest some ghosts and make your own little duran and kerri's.
First of, Duran wasn't infested. Ever. He probably is some kind of roague Xel'Naga, not even a Terran. He just joyned Kerrigan so that she could get rid of the Terran and Protoss quicker, since they were endangering his experiments. Kerrigan was made into what she now is by the Overmind. She is unable to do this herself to others. She tried that in one of the novels. -forgot the name- All she can do is create brainless parasite controlled Terrans by infesting them. Ghosts kinda need their brains... Also, Ghosts have huge psionic powers, similar to what the Protoss have, this protects them from infestation. Again: Kerrigan was totally transformed by the Overmind, not just infested. However, an infested Ghost would be really cool. What you bring up as a reason for it -lore- just makes no sense at all. I like the idea, but it would be extremely difficult to create a fitting piece of lore for it. Blizzard pretty much made it impossible with the current lore. If they retcon anything, then that would be a disaster for the whole in-game story and the novels.
Maybe. The infest ability goes through so much hooplah. However, you won't make a Kerrigan or Duran. Kerrigan is one of the most powerful Ghosts (ever), and Duran isn't even human,
A bit of topic, but is there any news on Nova ever making it into Wings of Liberty? -or one of the other parts- And what's a "hooplah"? :s
