Increase Your Internet Connection

hey guys! i have a friend that showed me how to increase your internet speed. this will only be applicable to Windows XP though.

 

Do not bother if you have Windows XP Home Edition, you are not allowed to use the Group Policy Editor as it is only available for Windows XP Professional Edition. There are ways to get it on to your Home Edition but I would not recommend doing so unless you know what you are touching and doing.

 

Damn it all, I have Vista.

 

I'm on vacation right now, so there's no point in me doing it. I'll try when I get home tho.

 

Thanks Josh, I did this, and my Internet connection on my computer is faster. That was totally easy, so nobody should be afraid to do it.

Now that your Internet connection is faster, you can receive better coverage on your Wi-Fi!

Yes, I am glad you put this on here, because it seems to work!

I'm gonna join a game of Worm War on WC3 and see if my connection is faster than everybody elses'. I'll give you the results.

Results: I came in second in the loading screen, runner-up to the host. Not bad. I have a cable connection in case you are wondering.

Make sure you have good hosts though, on Wc3 most of the lag you get usually comes from the host, unless you have like 56k.
