Immortal cannon look

The current Immortal has 4 dinky little cannons on it versus the picture which has 2 giant cannons of death.

Please blizzard change it to mimic the picture for the sake of atleast the immortals i know if i was one i would rather have the bigger looking ones.

This may be a necrothread but i dident see a thread deticated to this. :wacko:

Concept art, and the actual game play visuals have always differed for this type of game.

Also, the game isn't done yet, have more patience, they will fix everything that needs to be fixed.

 

I have faith in blizzard no dout about that but death cannons are so much cooler. :wacko:

 

Both look good to me.. but I think the 4 minicannons are there because of gameplay issues (maybe immortal's attack is 4*something, but I honestly don't remember)

 

Everyone have his own opinion. For example I like the combination of the 2 Bigger death cannons and 4 girly cannons. (The first Immortal model)

 

I think they made the cannons smaller so you could more easily see the unit beneath.

 

I changed the poll language to be less obviously biased.

4 looks really cool to me.

 

I like the 2 death cannons, they look pretty cool.
but if they do the 4x something thingy, the cannons are gonna do like 4- damage, unless they dont put that in, (because each extra hit does 1 less damage against 1 armor 2 hits=2 less damage)

 

I agree with Justicator they should return it back to the original look oh and "girly" has no place on the field of battle.

Well what ever they do they need to make the cannons bigger and meaner. (i cant see why they made them smaller in the first place)

Lol it was supposed to be biased that was the point of the poll to get rid of the dinky look.

It loses it's rather smooth look, I think they should go back to the two on each "arm" one.

 

i like two cannons because immortal with four cannons looks too much like something terrans will have. two cannons is more proportional and fits the protoss looks.

 

How? The terran is more of two cannons. like twin auto cannons, the tank gun thingy idk what it's called. the seiged mode gun also.

 

I liked the original model just fine.

As long as there not smaller dinky looking ones i could care less if there are 2 or 4.

 

I prefer two-cannon versions of immortal, just like in the concept-art...
slim looking stylish barrels...
meaning it doesn't have to be giant, misshapen and raw-looking if it's powerfull (f.e. like thor...)
It can be elegant and subtle just like it suppose to be with toss-tech-life-war-style.

I like original model but I would want it to have the textures/lightining of the new one. I think bigger cannons fit the unit more because it is a heavy firepower ranged support unit. The stalker is the one that is lighter and more rapid fire.

 

The Immortal still has four cannons, but they're a bit thicker now.
