Posting from my new 3ds. how is everyone?

Glad to see you again darkone! Oh and how's the 3DS? is it good? What games you got on it?

And i've just been colleging as well.

 

ohai, I have been universitying.

 

Stupid foreigners and their differentiation between college and university.

 

been alright, still in mississippi, same job, ex gf (was wronged by last night), bought a car.

3ds is awesome, cept slow on nets and no flash, have OoT remake and pokemon black

Before darkone inevitably asks, we're basically all studying computer science with an intent to make games. How is pokémon black?

 

pretty fun wish it were 3d too, but alas its just a reg ds game

 

...3d? pokémon game? what?

 

the 3ds actually displays some games and pictures you take in 3d without special glasses, pokemon black and white werent made for the 3ds, so they cannot display that way, just backwards compatibility

 

I don't think I would want one of those pokémon games to be 3d. That would take away from the nostalgia.

 

Yeah, and if they took away nostalgia, those games would actually have to become entertaining on their own.

 

They're entertaining if you pay attention to actual stats and move lists.

 

that is pretty entertaining, yes. However, the sheer amount of padding in each battle can drive someone insane.

 

black and white have completly new pokemon so no nostalga

 

I've thought about making a pokémon game just for kicks. It would be the same world as the original three, same pokémon as the original three, except that you start with an Eevee and it's called Pokémon Gray.

EDIT: Different plot and such, though.

 

Ooh, fun. I think I got a list of ideas for just such an occassion lying around.

*jumps into note pool*

 

id rather start with a gastly, gengar is my fav of all time after all
