as all of you probably noticed, my sig has changed to show you the show i am currently watching and everytime i watch a series i am gonna make a thread about the series, telling my opinion now shaman king, style: anime genre: fantasy subject: a group of people(shamans) who can increase their own power and knowledge by temporarily fusing souls with a spirit or a ghost opinion story: the story started out great, better then any child anime i have ever seen(which doesnt mean much), the story got a little worse in the second round of the shaman fight though, since there were non-recurring characters introduced, though the X-laws almost made up for that grade: at the beginning+first round B+, 2nd round C+, Great spirits storyline B- characters: Shaman King has the most diverse and awesome selection of characters i have ever seen, from the scary Iron Maiden Jeanne in her torture-chair to the disgustingly creepy Faust VIII to the corny Chocolove(one of the 2 black chars), all but one of the characters were great. grade A humour: The jokes in the series were crude and corny, but(so?) still very very funny, grade B Other Stuff: the powers the shamans got were great and impressive, though the big Oversouls in the second round were just a little too much i probably forgot something overal grade A-
oh lol funny discovery so this girl Jeanne is a leader of christian extremists, and she uses the god-spirit Baphomet as her main spirit. But i just read somewhere else that Baphomet was the god the templars were accused of praying to and were executed because of that i find that quite funny

I watched like... the first season? Was okay, didn't really rub off on me though. Side note: Does anybody know that anime that was on Fox Box or whatever a few years back, where the chefs made their meals, then the meals turned into anthropomorphic ones and fought each other?
that sounds like the muppet show and what do you mean by first season there only was 1 season consisting of 64 episodes or do you mean story arc?
