If you could get rid of one unit in SC2 what would it be and why? Do you have a runner up as well? Say that too. Also, if you could buff one unit which would it be, why, and what exactly would you buff?

I want Hellions gone, much rather have a vulture that can lay mines. Waaay more fun and easier to micro. Blizzard sort of killed micro in SC2. Sort of pisses me off. =/

    Mothership

Either get rid of it or buff it up. Why did they get rid of the planet cracker? From video's the mothership goes down quite easily. I saw 5 or 6 marines take one out. And it only took seconds.

Sorry but if a "Mothership" can be taken down in a few seconds by a few marines its worthless.

    Buff it up.

Make it immune to marine fire and more resistant to air attack. Give it more firepower. Give back the planet cracker.

Or get rid of it. Its rarely used anyway.

I'm not really sure I'd like units replaced as I like the current ones. I do feel like I miss the Arbiter and Reavers a lot, and Firebats on the terran side, also a move-while-burrowed lurker would be super-cool, but asside from nostalgia I feel I like the current unit composition. Would perhaps replace the mothership with arbiters as you can make more than one of them and they're more useful but recalling in multiple bases of the enemy might be a little OP, especially if you combine it with the new warp-in tech.

Oh and again: Reavers! They're so sexy!

I was one of the "lucky" people meeting this monstrosity in a FFA game, if someone who knows the basics of the game has this one out say goodbye.
Tried to get my ghosts close to drain the energy and shield..but no way his observers spotted me and the cloaked carriers finished off the ghosts
The vikings I send afterwards were sucked into the vortex this thing can generate., meanwhile the invisible carriers finished off my marines and turrets.

This mothership alone is quite useless, but combined with the rest of the army you normally have, it's invincible just long enough to wipe out you main base and army(it was at 200 supply), by the time the energy is at 0 and this thing is down you'll probably severely crippled so that the remaining army which becomes visible can finish you off.

So yes remove this Mothership ASAP.
    Runner up? maybe Archons?

Mother ships are used mostly for recall bro. You sneak one out and mass recall your stalker/lot army into their base and it's usually GG.

Dude..no. The planet cracker can level an entire base if it's packed together. That'd be the most OP sh*t ever. A custom game gave you the ability of getting the unit and it had the ability to completely kill an entire base in one attack. It'd be one sided as hell and be almost an auto-GG if it happened.

I think the mothership really is unbalanced but I admit it's fun to use it.
I've tried a few games (FFA and 1v1) playing with Protoss.
Every time I managed to get the Mothership out it was an easy win (even FFA where the other players were Terran(Platinum), Zerg(Diamond), Protoss(silver).

I Used the Mothership with an army of Zealots, Stalkers, Colossi, Voids below it and it work like a huge vacuumcleaner cleaning the whole map, target detectors first and vortex large groups of AA units and nothing stands a chance.

I wish vortex would damage all units within AOE of at least 15-20% of their total health.
