mine, runetotem... or if you are more of a PvP, roleplaying or guy who hates me man, you would prefer another
Wyrmrest Accord or Moon Guard are the best for RP. Wyrmrest is new, but a lot of RP servers were offered free transfers to it. It's actually high quality stuff, and so far the best area is the taverns of Stormwind, usually a bit later at night. Moon Guard is high quality too... but you almost have to earn it more I find. Also, Goldshire is just so demoralizing. There's like... 3 active ERP guilds there. Nobody does anything about them.
Don't walk through other people. Use ((texthereomglol)) when you're talking out of character. At least have a rough background on your character if people ask questions. There really isn't a designated one. Just a whole bunch with people of different skill levels.
You have to play PVP servers in WoW. Otherwise the only big divider between Horde and Alliance is you can't group or talk to each other. This is the world of WARCRAFT. There's no war when you can't kill a nightelf just cuz hes there. It's not like PVP servers are all about PVP anyways. It just makes it so you can fight with other players on the other faction. You don't have to go out looking for them to advance. I've always kinda wanted to try a RP server but already have a 75main and a few alts on Hakkar. Just last night I was in Dragon Blight doing a quest underwater when I spotted a nightelf warrior my own level. As a lvl 75 undead Warlock my pulse quickened the moment he came into my view. I casted a shadow bolt before he knew I was there...before he could begin to realize what hit him he was already taking serious damage from my curses. My Felgaurd probably even got his rocks off beating the sucker to death before he could get me to 90% HP. I killed him a good 7 times before I finished the quest I was on and moved to a different area. I great get satisfaction knowing I must have broken all his armor and put him a few gold down repairing it. On the flip side it sucks when a level 80 is camping a small village where the guard AI just isn't all that good. But it feels great when you ask if anyone in general chat can help and a few strangers come and whoop ass for the horde. Or you just fly to another town and quest from there.
Yeah, uh. If I played on a PVP server, that Night Elf would be me. I suck at PvP. Very badly in fact. Also, if I recall correctly, armor doesn't degrade from PvP deaths, so....And he better have been a caster, otherwise lolwat at the Felguard. You have a very odd way of PvP'ing as a Warlock. Generally, you open up with a Curse of Shadow, THEN pop a Shadow Bolt, if you're Destro. Otherwise, you use CoS+Corruption+CoA, or CoE+Immo+CoA
Personally I'd go for a low population PvP server. All the fun of world PvP without being ganked and corpse camped as which happens a lot on the larger servers. And I just find PvP a little more realistic, if an orc saw a human walking down the road, first thing in it's mind would be "fresh meat".
I actually ended up rolling on Kargath. Still open to suggestions if someone is DYING to play with me (Gotta be Ally, cause Draenei are the shizznit)
