I've been browsing around, and I find alot of movies of ppl playing SC2, forum threads with ppl saying "Today I was playing Terran, and I tried this and that tacc...bla bla" I was hoping that everyone would get a "fresh start" when SC2 comes out. And that everyone would be "noobs" and start at the same level. When I started to play WC3 online, the game had been out for a couple of years, the same with all other games i've tried online. I have always had that disadvantage, that everyone else had been playing those games for years. It seems that there are some ppl that are playing SC2, based on the movies and forums that I have seen. Who are these ppl who are playing the game now? How did they get the game? Am I able to play it?(I doubt it) PS: I really hope that blizzard dont release a beta that only 25% of the community are able to play. And that they will be able to play that beta for half a year before the rest of us, and pwnd us all when they release it.
frankly, yeh have to learn to enjoy losing which is what i do.. lol though when the people that win against you start yelling at you for being a noob it is really annoyin.
You realise a lot of these people getting the jump on us are Korean, right? Just look at the video where we first saw the swarm guardian, everyone had black hair and fair skin.
they are not racist, they are exploiting the fact that Korea will be where they will gain the most profits with SC2
@ spartan - this is MADNESS!!!! lolz,, its all about business, but isnt blizzard already filthy rich with their monthly collections from WoW?? well if they tend to focus more on koreans then that just just makes them plain filthy lol ^_^ (kidding) it doesnt matter anyway whoever gets to play them earlier since they are also just getting the raw game and of course those players who get to play them are also ace class sc pro-gamers so perhaps they have indeed an upper hand getting that first experience of SC2... since its their culture anyway
its the pro gamers that gets to play sc2 and some forum global moderators or admins got their hands on it. Jon got to play it too. dude, i think...when you get the game, dont go online straight away and get pwned. practise with the campaigne or the computer.
thats basic... those koreans just arent into things like that since they "Shoot the gun 1st before aiming" its healthy anyways coz they get to the point and can try to understand the game much better if the 10 year traditions of the 90's battle tactics can be of use or would be still formidable in 2k8
They get to play it because they're more special than we are. But don't worry. There aren't that many of them compared to all of the people who will be playing when it actually comes out.
