I like metal. People are usually astounded in real life when I say that because they seem to be expecting long black hair, spikes, leather, etc.

 

I'm the least metal looking person I know.

I used to listen a lot to metal, but now im more into rock.

However when I do listen to metal its actually trash.

Sorry but MSI isn't black metal, it's much more like EBM or Industrial.

 

EBM? It's closer to jungle (old stuff) and electro (new stuff) than to EBM.

And he doesn't say its black metal, its the lyric:

Ohh I don't remember those lyrics.. I was surprised that someone think that MSI was black metal.. hehe

anyway.. jungle? I don't think so.. simply the use of the vocals can't make it jungle.. maybe the use of the amen at some point might make some think it has jungle influences.. but nothing more.. MSI isn't jungle... if MSI is jungle, Atari Teenage Riot is jungle/breakcore...

now about the electro, I totally agree.. but electro is too large to describe MSI, that's why I tried to add a subtility.. MSI isn't industrial.. but saying it sounds like EBM and Indus adds the subtility that "electro" alone can't offer.

I would describe MSI as a blend of punk rock, electro, and industrial..

now let's take a look at what EBM is all about.. it really a mix of Electronic Industrial and punk... so.. that's why I said "like EBM"

of course EBM is mostly focusing on the industrial and electronic parts.. and MSI sounds a lot more "rock" but I'm pretty sure they also have EBM influences... much more than jungle influences.. that is for sure.

Anyway; I'd say that Rock/Electronica/Industrial is right.

 

I would describe them as.....industrial jungle p***y punk.

Industrial really has more punk influences than EBM, look at Ministry! EBM is alot smoother.
