Yeah, its basically like 4-mini games leading up to the space stage, which is a not very impressive game either. I good concept and a fun way to waste time now and then, but not the amazing game I thought it was going to be. Throw the DMR issues in, and it is more issue then it is worth.
I am totally neutral toward DRM, since there is really no need for anybody to install a game on more than 3 computers anyways.
But there is a reason to install it more than 3 times. Sucks when that computer tanks for the fourth time.
Actually the recent update to the game (which is a pig to install btw) relaxes this DRM. Supposedly it upps the number of allowed installs to 5. And you get them back should you uninstall the game. But personally I say just make a copy of the game file itself. The 3 odd GB sized one. And if something happens to the oroginal you can just replace it with the copy. So installs used up that way. I did it and amazing it doesn't destroy your saves either. They must be stored elsewhere. Well this is on OS X anyways.
Bah, getting a cyclic redundancy check error on a graphics.package...Best Buy has three ways to pay me: $50, another copy of Spore, or blood.
