I've found myself in a weird position... I like it but see it as a possible problem for the future maybe. My macro has gotten too good I havent lost a game in 3 days so its 25ish wins in a row now. The problem is I keep going mutas and because im macroing and microing the mutas so well no one stands a chance. Any early aggression is easily thwarted by spine crawlers at my natural and roaches on reserve. I take xelnaga towers then place a ling outside their pace and position 2 overlords for scouts and macro their face off.

I will see them coming long before they ever get to me so I hold mins in reserve with a roach warren and extra larva just in case first 5-10 mutas pop out at 8ish minutes I harass the expo the main whatever and take my third maybe my 3rd and 4 by the time they do anything I have 30 mutas with +weapons upgrades and roaches/banelings if I need them.

Thats pretty much every game only a couple of times did i have to actually change tech cause in the end I just outproduced them, I can throw 15 mutas down the hole and by the time they do anything i have 20 more. What Im wondering is if this is bad? Is this just me "rushing mutas" cause if i wanted to rush them out id have em much earlier. I dunno I just hope this doesn't put me into an inevitable slump later.

So ya this is a strategy guide to some, but for me it's just confusing.

It means you're playing against less skilled players.

Thats what I was getting at... So I roflstomp people for how long? Then suddenly I rank up and people adapt to well or something. Should I just switch up tactics just to round out my play a lil bit so I don't end up a sub-parr player? Like bnet needs to get its head out of its... and rank me up already cause its gettin stupid.

Also multiple wins of the roflstomping were vs Diamond players o_O

Even in ZvZ mutas don't always work. Quuens, spore towers and infestors is a nice little counter. Where the quuens and spores keep the home protected and summoned infested marines force the muta heavy player to fight to defend there base . :D

    Dah f?

    Thors. batlecruisers. Ghost....
Phoenix (esp with micro), stalker( more micro needed, actual play skill lol), Carriers (although who uses those anymore...). note that ht suck. archons, can be used too.
Moar mutas, with corruptor micro. Hydras. Queens as support + micro. spore crawlers will rape mutas.

Hell most things that can attack air shud be able to fend off muta harass and harass you BACK.

Honestly, I say you should keep using those mutas. Lots of high level zergs use them to great effect, and if you can multi-task well then it's hard for even a good player to fight back.
