with the new patch reducing protoss power to rush from the start seems to be hurting.

the game i played last was Pro vs Ter and it basically came down to a marines and marauders vs sentry and stalkers we where exchanging pretty well but i felt that i was losing each fight having to pull my drones to help fight every now and then.

by the end it came down to he had meds and i just couldn't stop him anymore not to mention i couldn't keep up with minerals or gas.
anyway here are some screen shots. What do you guys think?

Get some High Templar or Colossi next time. Both will eat up MMM armies.

It seems that Protoss players are relying too much on Stalkers. DT's Psi-storm isnt as effective as it was in 1 but with 3 or 4 of them it will chew Marines and Marauders up.

One very good combo I saw was Zealots, Sentry's, Colossus, Phoenix, and Void rays. The player had several of each and it proved devastating.

The problem is that. I cant build templars or anything else all my expense even though im not spending any on buildings is going into units which barely hold on. However i will try it next time and see if i can get out some high templars faster.

As with every game scout scout scout.
Toss has a great stealth observer, use it. You see M and M have to tech to colos those will destroy M and M real fast. Hate that then get the rush tech for zeals and they work a lot better vs ranged units. Looks like you had even econ just have to micro better. Stalkers are way over used now they are great vs toss or zerg not so much ter.
Again looks like you had good macro just work on better counters

I guess you need to saturate your minerals and gas more then? Perhaps maybe expand more too. About 2 HT's should be able to take out most of a bio ball if the storms are well placed.

well, if you are throwing stalkers at marauders, expect to be beaten every time.

Early on, don't completely ignore the potential of the zealot. It is a good unit for helping mow down those bio balls that can be thrown at you... especially when upgraded with speed.

Also, if you are going to use the sentry, then sometimes just sticking a few force fields within a bioball can scatter those units and render marauders, with their short range, ineffective.

Stalkers are a good unit, but too often I find toss players using them as the basis for their whole army. That just leads to their counter having an easy time of it

yeah i kept playing games and i realized how deadly protoss zealot speed is, going for templars early was weak since the cost is quite high.

Zealots are Protoss` main weapon in the early game. I also saw a lot of games where players go for Stalkers, but they are just a Zealot support unit. When you start playing against a Terran, first always send two of your Probes to kill the SCV that tries to block the entrance. Once you get the first Zealot - send it to kill SCVs, the second and so on. If you push the Terran, he won`t be able to develop as fast as you, then you should have a Dark Templar - it goes out pretty quickly and even if he has an orbital command or MT, he remains vulnerable. Terran is strong when he gets tanks, in the BW the Firebat was devastating when used against Zealots, now they need a Factory to build such units.

Don't get stalkers. MM wrecks stalkers.

If you have to rely on tier 1 units, get zealots and sentries. That will last you for a while, and in the meantime tech to colossi or high templar, and THEN you can get stalkers.

Everyone saying go colossus, I'd like to see you play a high level terran trying that strategy. Guarantee you that you won't be able to hold off the pressure long enough to get two colossi out at the same time and you'll get wrecked. If you don't get zealot charge, you can't really hold them off for long. Then it's too much gas to go both charge and colossus, so you're screwed.
