and I thought you all would like it. I haven't played it (because I am poor and have no monies) but I've talked to people who have and know the storyline.

    Pretty accurate interpretation.

Shame you can't afford portal 2. Guess alternate means of acquiring it are much more closely monitored in the US. It's a pretty damn good game though.

Nah, it's fine! I'm sure I'd suck at it. This is one game I'd rather watch someone play than play it myself.

No, it's just that most people have enough respect to not steal games.

If you don't have money, you wouldn't have been a customer anyway.

Frankly, as a rule, I don't download software (that's other teenagers' work), but I can understand people who download and later buy. Or people who download games that aren't available around them *cough* Australia *cough*. Or people that download really really bad games, because they heard how bad they were (since you don't actually want to support the creators).

If the game is bad, you don't want to play it anyway.

If the company wanted you to be able to test it first, they would provide a demo.

I would prefer you remain "not a customer" than "somebody who stole." That way, you're still a person.

Leave Australia if the game matters to you that much.

Oh yes, because people who illegally download aren't people anymore. There is the difference between taking someone from someone else, or copying something from someone else, you know.

It's just good to know I'm not a person, I like being clear in that regard.

I fail to see how anybody can enjoy a game they didn't respect the creators for. Stealing a game is one of the things that torques me off insanely badly, along with people who play competitive games without the intent to win and people who circumvent a game's rules to gain an unfair advantage.

hell, downloading books or comics isn't even illegal here, while downloading music, programs and videos is gedoogd. Programs is the only one I don't do as a rule, mostly because I would actually buy most of the programs I would use.

It's a dutch legal concept. It's something that, while on the books of a crime, can not possibly be used as a charge. It is usually done to controversial stuff, like growing and selling marijuana. It's legalese for: "**** it. We are never going to reach a conclusion and the people are just gonna do it no matter what we say. Let's just gedoog it and move on."

I hope we can either agree to disagree, or to continue in the lounge. What I saw of them in Portal 1, I really liked.

1 can prepared coconut pecan frosting.
    3/4 cup vegetable oil.
    4 large eggs.
    1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
    3/4 cups butter or margarine.
    1&2/3 cups granulated sugar.
    2 cups all purpose flour.
    Don't forget garnishes such as:
    Fish shaped crackers.
    Fish shaped candies.
    Fish shaped solid waste,
    Fish shaped dirt.
    Fish shaped ethyl benzene.
    Pull and peel licorice..
    Fish shaped volatile organic compounds
    and sediment shaped sediment.
Candy coated peanut butter pieces, Shaped like fish.
    1 cup lemon juice.
    Alpha resins.
    Unsaturated polyester resin.
    Fiberglass surface resins.
    And volatile malted milk impoundments.
    9 large egg yolks.
    12 medium geosynthetic membranes.
    1 cup granulated sugar.
An entry called 'how to kill someone with your bare hands'.

I honestly feel like that recipe is her attempt at reanimating the dead.

    Thanks for the edit, K.

Why would you need fish-shaped crackers for that?
