i desperatly need some help, in-game coaching or some tips on my gameplay. i just cant seem to win any games, im playing as terran in 1v1 im not sure how i post replays, do i have to upload them to mediafire or something or does sc2 have some sort of sharing functions? thanks for your help, EDIT: seems u can just attach the replay files, ive attatched a couple.
Firstly, you should always try to get orbital command as fast as possible, unless your cheesing. So maybe look at some openings? 10 supply, 12 barracks, 13 refinery, the orbital whenever you finish your barracks. Next you don't really need a wall against protoss. Also you should try and not queue up units. Try to use control groups more, for your cc, and barracks. Just focus on getting your macro right, keep your minerals low. So you can say: If my minerals are too high I could get (when all your buildings are training) 1. supply depots 2. more productions buildings 3. expo 4. upgrades Also get upgrades for your units, especially combat shield and stim for your marines. Don't stay holed up in your base for too long, in that first game your opponent went for a dodgy third. However eventually he will have an advantage, so push out when you notice you have an advantage, that is were scouting comes in. But, focus on getting macro right, keeping minerals low, keep building workers, etc.
EDIT: here is a match i just won with a mate of mine, let me know what you tihnk of that. towards the end i forgot to make marauders, and i probarbly needed to expand earlier and not make as many vikings, but i thought i played well
First of all, you can use drop.sc to easily share replays. Second, visit Liquipedia and get acquainted with some basic strategies. Third, watch some pro games to get an idea what general strategies you can implement.
Well in suggest going for a orbital command asap, right after your barracks, using mules gets your economy up, plus scans etc. Use control groups for buildings and units don't stack. Control groups help quickly browse what you are not using And when the invisible dudes came around, that could have been scouted, scans or observers, Also you don't really need two refineries for barracks only... so you can delay your second gas unless your teching higher.. I would recommend playing with siege tanks.. they are pretty much bread and butter for most match ups. Also with something like barracks heavy, 3 raxs and such, you usually want to push out with your ally at a certain point ( got an upgrade) because the effectiveness slowly diminishes as your opponent techs up.. lucky your opponent didn't get any real good counters, (colli or banes) You did pretty well managing for econ and stuff otherwise.
