Hyper triggers make your triggers go off at a faster rate.. does it increase unit speed and rate of fire too?? I know an RPG and 1 Bound that the Lings and hydras. went zoom zoom accross the map Hypers do that? or a nother trigger
It is possible that they used triggers to constantly move the Hydralisk and Zergling but its more than likely that they used Player 15. In order to increase game speed, you must place a unit owned by Player 15 before you place any other unit. It is imperative because if you were to place the unit after you have placed other units, some of the units in your map are either removed or will become immobilized. How do you place units for Player's higher than 12? You must use StarForge which is an advanced editor. BE careful with it though.
Ahh okay.. hmm well that screws me up there i have a new map in the makeing and its gunna be MEGA FUN. Its gunna have a Unit selection like ( Impossible Nirvana ) And im makeing this map for u Imagine its gunna be called Random Unit ARENA EDIT: I only wanted fast units to make the game more fun thats all
i know. im gunna try and make it more advanced than my Defense one.. but iono if i can do that tho.. my defense one is pretty advanced
Good luck, everything I've worked on was a failure except for the bound that I haven't touched for a few months. But the failures were made when I was still a stupid little kid.
<.< ArchaicDrago.. You're on the wrong forum... Go to www.staredit.net instead. There're a lot more info for mapping there.. Hyper Triggers make the preserved triggered fire at a much faster speed w/o the usual 1 second wait. To do it you just do Wait 0 milleseconds and copy that for a lot of times for three triggers... Warning: Must NOT put wait triggers on the same player where you put the Hyper Trigger on. There's another way to do hyper triggers.. but u'd have to go and view MY tutorial for that To make units move faster, it is one of the Extended Player properties that Blizzard used for Replays (remember u can do x1.5, x2, or x4 speed in replays? =D)... it WAS a p14 map revealer, interceptor, and scarab placed at the TOP LEFT Corner of the map BEFORE ANY OTHER UNITS ARE PLACED (Altho u can delete the first unit you've placed and place that unit, which will then mark the scarab/inter/map revealer as your 1st unit.. err i think =) ). All units attack efficiently at x1.5, but at x2, marines and other units start not attacking, while at x4 everything goes basically haywire. The RPG you're talking about is probably A Hero's Path ver X or smth... lol The sad thing is, Blizzard has already patched it. There is currently no way to produce the fast units. So too bad :C. Fortunately, since you're interested in mapping, I direct you to www.staredit.net for mapping. The tutorials there will help you.
