There's nothing i can do to get higher? On lowest it's very hard to play, even with a few SCVS

Sorry but you're going to need a discrete graphics card to play the game. The integrated GeForce 6150 is just too slow. The minimum requirement is a GeForce 6600.

i forget which i site i read this on but they did an analysis
despite what blizzard may claim and the deceiving graphical nature of starcraft 2, this game is very gpu dependent, more so than cpu
get the fastest gpu u can afford/accommodate
your cpu is fine so sc2 does not benefit anything more than a dual core
the article also mentions for a cpu, go for the highest ghz possible and not cores

Have you tried using a lower screen resolution? That normally has a big effect on framerate.

No, you're really stuck at where you are thanks to the graphics. CPU and RAM are OK, so no need to bother bout them. But the graphic card simply needs to be replaced. Wouldn't be to expensive, maybe something around $70-$100 would be ok

Slimline pc's are really hard to upgrade. But i found a powersupply , and maybe a decent video card. Would come to like 250+ if i got them though.

On the bright side, the machine is able to be upgraded with a PCIe 16x card! Might not want to get a really powerful card that requires external power, but its doable. There is no way you are going to get this game playable without a graphics card upgrade.

Most of the slowdown in SCII is likely from copy protection, so you might try weird things and see if they have any effect on your fps. For instance on a hyperthread cpu, try turning that off or on. Someone on the official forums reported that running WoW in the background helped. Someone else said bittorrent, someone else firefox.

Also as jasmine suggested, lower the resolution, and try changing particular graphics settings instead of just using the "ultra/lowest" tab.

Nah. In the OP's case, it's got nothing to do with copy protection. His IGP (GeForce 6150) is just way underpowered. Believe me, I've tried (GeForce 7100) and even on 1024x768 with everything on low, it just doesn't cut it. Surprisingly, my laptop with Intel GS45 chipset (mobile version of G45) seems to fare better even when paired with a slower CPU. From Tom's graphics hierarchy chart, his IGP is roughly equivalent to an Intel G31 IGP which is pretty bad.

Again, just buy a discrete GPU. Something like a low-profile Radeon HD5570 should work quite well for even high at lower resolutions. Heck, even a $20 (after rebate) HD4550 would be a major step up from what you have now.

He's using a slimline desktop, very, very limited on what you can put in there. Some peeps make low profile video cards, but they are more "Hey, they will fit in my case" rather than "Hey, this card is amazing." iirc, EVGA makes one, and BFG makes one, but most standard sized cards will not fit, gotta get something skinny.

^ So if you plan on upgrading components, it is wise to avoid slimline computers in the first place.

GTS 240 is OEM only and is basically a rebadged 9800 GT. Needless to say, it's faster than the GT 240 (GT2154) which can be found retail. Alas, you probably won't find it in a low-profile form factor.
