How much has the game evolved since April

So I got the chance to participate in the BETA around march-april, got to premium in 2v2 and gold in 1v1, then got lurked back into WoW. Has anything massive changed since then? MmM could tore through anything if played right, fast thor + scv rush was raping TvTs, lolroaches, Toss whining about ghost AoE too large...ZvT was basically either roaches or banelings, both worked but banelings took alot more micro etc

roaches have been nuked so they are not as deadly, and i think terran is a bit overpowered and easier to use for a newbie to take on higher league players. there are some cheese plays using proxy canons in bases and i think thats about it
