How do you make starcraft(original) work without the disc?

    ive gotten the iso file to open but when I install it it tells me i need the disk in order to play it, is there a solution to this? ive tried everything(or i think i have) to fix it, so is there a way to play starcraft without the disk?oh and is this illegal....
