How do I put colored squares beneath towers?

    I'm remaking Wintermaul Wars from wc3 and I've seen colored squares beneath towers in different tower defenses. I want to implement this, but I don't know how. Help please? Thanks.

    What do you mean by "colored squares?" Could you give an example of a tower defense with this feature, or take a screenshot?
