How do I move army?

If I do the MMM build, how do I make my whole army move as one? Is there way to make my medics stay above my marines if I auto-attack to a location instead of them just flying fast and over the cliffs? My medics beat my marines and got owned. Do i just have to micro them?

What i do is select the fastest units and right click on the slowest ones in my army.

This ensures the army stays together once you see your army is close to the base, do as you wish because they are together.

    Click your entire army.

    Press Control 1-9

Whatever key you hit will be assigned to that group.

So if you hit Control 3, then you will be able to access your army when you hit that button.

    use follow

I also set the slowest units to move and have the faster units follow. Its good to also have the medics following the units they'll be healing.

I order my medivac's to attack a friendly unit. They then follow that unit, whether it's a tank or a marine. The tanks and MM I have hot-keyed separately.

Yeah, set your army to a control group (commonly 1), set your medivacs to another control group (usually 2 for me), and then press 2, and then the 'move' command and then click on the marines/marauders at the back of your army.

Also, if you build ravens, you'd also like them in the same control group as the medivacs since they can't really attack either and don't have much HP.

Simply, don't order a unit group to move a long distance in one go. Move them in baby step, say 1/3 or 1/2 screen width at a time, and wait for the slower units to catch up if they're lagging too far behind.
