    Hello,

Is it possible to buy used game from person who already activated game with CD key? What information would I need to get from them to make it usable for me?
Do I just need their battle.net account? Do I need CD key? Do I need original CDs?
I'm trying to avoid to have any kind of physical media exchange.
If I get somebody else battle.net account, will I be able to change email address account is associated with or any other parameters of account?

No? What No? Of course I can, it's just a matter of how much stuff I need to get out of seller. Unless installation bound to specific computer hardware there shall be a way to move installation around technically.

Theoretically, if you trust the other party then I suppose you could get their Battle.net account information. I wouldn't suggest that though because there is always a way for the original owner to recover his account and leave you with no game and 40-50 dollars short. Buy the game new, it sucks because its just another money making scheme of blizzard's but there isn't much you can do about it.

So are you confirming that SC2 is bound to hardware on machine it's installed on? Or it's just a guess?

You never bought anything used in your life? Then you know the answer. If you don't then you are for a rough ride later in life.

You don't. The game is licensed not bought ( like windows for example ). The right to use it is licensed to the orriginal purchaser and is non-transferable.

The only way you could get it "used" would be to get someone else's b-net accout, which violates the EULA. So if caught, the account would license would likely be revoked.

So, theoretically speaking. I don't even need CD key or original installation media. All I need sellers battle.net account and can download and install it again, right?

Pretty much this but I also am not sure if it is safe... back in the SC days maybe but now everything is so linked to accounts and such.

But in all seriousness. It's against Blizzard's rules to sell your b.net account, so this whole conversation is pointless.
