i tried to add someone by email but when i open the window to do so, i can add people by code and name but not my email. the one for email is not lit up and therefore, when i click it, nothing happens.
You have to just add them via name and code. You can't do it any other way. Blizz set it up that way for privacy purposes.
Amber you're talking about character friends. RealID friends are added via the first form you get after clicking 'add friend', and you need their e-mail address. The button lights up when you've entered valid information, so you know if you've made a typo or have entered a bad e-mail. It's not bugged - if it doesn't work then it's you who's doing something wrong
When i try to click on the space where you're suppose to type the email address, nothing happens but when i try to click on the button for the character friend, it works.
