woah, you just confused me by having more than 2 options.

a toss up among the horde choices, they all have their awesomeness's and let downs...

You've seriously messed up all those allegiances, and you've left out the original Horde altogether.

well, the troll tribe in WC3 is actually a jungle troll tribe and gnomes weren't even mentioned in WC3.

WC horde vs alliance would just be orcs vs humans...

Well there's a definite problem with the Ogres as least, and also with the Trolls. On top of that I'm fairly certain you've mislabelled the Old and New Horde. The Mag'Har are not a part of the Horde and I never heard that the Taunka would be, just that they were distant relatives to the Tauren.

The ogres were only present in the roxxar campaign, if you went by standard race like in custom games you would have to include blood elves in the alliance aswell.

plus wyverns(sp) and dragons are sentient so they should be aswell...

the mag'har are part of the horde, especially so now that thrall lives there, and the leader of the mag'har is the son of grom hellscream

the ogres are present in WoW as well

the gnomes werent mentioned in WC3, but they never officialy left the alliance

and yes, some of the new horde cities in WotLK are taunka cities. at least, i thought they were.

The Ogres were in WarCraft2 as well... And the Dragons and a lot of the Undead, the Scourge/Forsaken predecessors, were also.

Also, just being allied with the Horde doesn't make them a part of the Horde. At the moment the races that make up the Horde are the Orcs, Darkspear Trolls, Tauren, Forsaken and Blood Elves.

oh right, i forgot about the dragons

werent the undead just minions of the orcish warlocks without free will?

taunka are part of the horde: http://www.wowwiki.com/Taunka

And the Death Knights in WarCraft2 were undead who were raised by Gul'Dan.

if you are getting into NPC allies theres a whole lot more you would have to add such as treants and dryads that are by association...

the problem with that is that the treants and dryads have no government that is part of the alliance

and @IHG, technically, the normal taurens are also only allied iwth the horde and not part of it

Wasn't the original Horde just Orcs (and wolves)?
Yep, there were ogres in W2. Which I hate since they took away my Raiders (the ones in WC3 are just not the same)
Dragons weren't allied, they were only with orcs because they captured Alextrasza with the Demon Soul

Why you have kirin tor in old alliance but not the new one? They've used human mages in all games. Also I don't remember any elves in WC1 or 2

because the kirin tor+dalaran are now a neutral city

not all mages are kirin tor

elves were in W2 i thought

you know what race would be perfect as a new horde ally, backstory and all(not playable though)? THE MAKRURA

No, the Tauren are a part of the Horde. The Orcs, Tauren, Darkspear Trolls, etc, make up the Horde, and the Taunka, etc, are allied with them.

Technically, only the Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren are Horde (If you want to be really technical, only the Orcs)

The Scourge and the Sin'dorei are only allied with the Horde.

    Alliance is all good though.

My vote goes to WoW Alliance, cause Draenei are awesome.

you might be right about that indeed

anyways, i think being allied with the horde or alliance is good enough for this poll

oh crud, i made a mistake in the alliance names, the second WoW alliance is supposed to be TBC alliance

    fenix, could you please edit?
