Hi there, I've been reading this forums for a looong time now, ever since I first heard of Starcraft 2 really. I've read all the batches, all the interviews (glad I discovered mr Gentho this way, he has amazing video's!) and most of all other articles. I thought it was time I signed up and show my appreciation. So yeah.. THANKS! Thanks for making me more eager to get this great game! Personally I suck at Starcraft, I recently picked it up again and my record is 9 wins / 23 losses now. I need to practice a bit more I guess.. I rather watch games, it's so inspirational to see those mad koreans do some über micro. Makes me wanna do it too! But when I try it I fail miserably ofcourse.. If anyone wants to play some noob games with me you can find me on the Euro servers Keep it up everyone, Starcraft 2 will kick ass!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone Actually I forgot the most important part, the facts! I'm currently 19 years old and live in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. My hobby's are women (only one atm, if you know what I mean ), going out, gaming and producing music (I released my first album 4th of Februari!). I was once a hardcore gamer, but I graduatly transformed into a more recreational gamer. Nowadays I just play some games when I feel like it, while I used to do it 24/7 in the past because I had nothing better to do :X Like I mentioned before my SC play is terrible. I keep loosing while I am doing everything right in my eyes. I scout, I see some buildings, coutner to it (or atleast try to) and still lose. Even with Mutalisk harrasment they will own me, no matter how many worker I destroyed. Is anyone up to a few games to tell me what exactly I am doing wrong? It's getting quite frustrating..
Another one from my beautiful, rainy, country! Welcome, enjoy your stay! By the way, just keep watching replays and try to imitate what they are doing, but not online. Practice against the AI, they are easy to defeat, so you have more time to use some proper micro and really get into it. Only go online when you have a fast way of setting up your base/expansions and when you know all of the hotkeys, those save you a lot of time. You can win from most people by using hotkeys, because most people don't know them and they are slow because of that. Good luck!

If you can't find anyone try to save replays from your games (even against AI) and upload them so others can see how you play
