High Templar? What are these?

See those units below the stasis fields with the glowing hands? What are those?

At first I thought they were high templar but after a closer look they look nothing like high templar. Did the templar get a new look? They look to me like zerg.

 

They are High Templar. The glowing is their attack (blizzard is experimenting with giving them normal attack)

 

Yes, those are High Templar with their new ability.

 

They have a much better look than it SC.

I can't help but feel intrigued that the stasis field is in the best possible spot for blue, my aim would never produce a perfect block like that.

 

the reason they look weird is because there backs are facing you.

 

They have capes and glowing hands. Wow! Really nice. ;-)

 

And Blizzard is experimenting with giving them a regular attack. Finally, no more pityful dieing after thier energy runs out in battle. Zerg will have fun with these new changes.

 

They have tails...and big spikes sticking out of their shoulders.

 

Those aren't tails those are their nerve tendrils comming off their heads.

I assume the spikes are just the new armor. Looks like they have helmets now

The green thing is [art of the terrain. Its been mentioned a couple of times in other threads, and was stated to be a part of the maps terrain in interviews.

I first thought it was some kind of cool zerg unit that was leaked out in pictures...but its not

HaHa... I like the modeling of the High Templar, theys looks very powerful, but is Dificult see them, always the Terrains color make difficult see them

Ehmm, I'm not into the new High Templar. To me they look too much like a WC3 Blood Mage.
I like to old ones. No wavy hands and no cape, they seem much more impressing that way, they just look silly to me right now and far from intimidating.

 

Hrm they do look like High Templars focusing their energies to an attk but the green thing just doesn't fit in the terrain it looks plain ugly, and looks like a Zerg spell/attk, but what are those huge orbs around the Stalkers (They are purple) looks pretty extreme ;D

 

You mean the time bombs?

 

What! 1 Mothership can give 2 time bombs??

 

The thing on the bottom is an Observatory, a capturable neutral building.
