Well, it's putting it in the same context as psi storm.

Ah, tonight, my dreams will be filled with High Templar unleashing fire and brimstone from the heavens upon Zerg swarms,

I think it will be put ion the story but not in the unit kind of like the Stalkers being rumored to have fantastic abilities.

Good spot but I agree with the above that it will probably be in the story only. There are a lot of comments like that made in passing on the unit descriptions.

I would love to see some fiery ability from High Templars.

eh, fire isn't really protosslike. It's more terranish and zergy. The zerg's home world is on fire, they should be the one with a fire type attack.

I agree that fiery attacks don't fit to well with the Protoss power. Maybe its a... Psionic fire? :p

Well, look at when Zealots and High Templar die....Gout of flame? Maybe they have learned to harness that and channel it.

It isn't technically a flame, it looks more like a soul or a burst of energy to me.

Then again, fiery does not necessarily mean the red burning fire we all think of.

Well a psionic storm isn't technically lightning, it's unstable psionic flow.

But you see what I'm saying. Terran (us) don't know that it's pure psionic energy, but it causes booms and burns, so they call it psionic fire.

None of the High Templar abilities/attacks should be fire-like. Here's my view:
Protoss should be raw power and pure energy, possibly electrical.
Terran should be all about ammunition and missiles, possibly flamer or laser/plasma.
Zerg should be all about sharp, pointy objects or corrosive saliva/acid glands, possibly slight physic attack.

it's perfectly reasonable.i mean, they could unleash psionic energy in form of fireballs.isn't this what Tassadar did ??

Perhaps they use some sort of pyrokinesis on people's minds. Perhaps they light a person's psi on fire, dealing damage to hem and perhaps leaving them unable to cast for a bit.

That, or hero High Templar will have a pyro/ fire based storm instead of a lightning based psi storm.
