in the middle of the picture theres a group of high templar casting. cannot confirm wether the picture is old or new though. it was recently released under starcraft2.com screenshots but the colossus is using the old panning beam attack that was changed significantly since. one of the other photos new photos that have been release along with this one has colossus shooting revamped beam attack.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... anyways love the new high templar look!

Yeah you can tell it's outdated because the Zealots have pink psi blades. :p

The psi blades, pylons and so on don't represent the team colour anymore?

the new high templars are still awesome and the archons remind me of a small golem, dont they? And Jon stop confusing people. The team colors still represented on every unit decal now.

WOW, I haven't checked in in a while. The new screen shots are awesome looking. Its been a long year waiting for SC2. They could be re-releasing a starcraft2 expansion by now.
But at blizzard they believe in doing things right not just for cash. You do have to wonder how much money they have spent on the game this year and how much they could have made on the title had they released it.

Dude, blizzard does not have any money issues, i would be very surprised if they did. And in regards to the rest of the post, would like a crappy game that isn't finished? No, you wouldn't, we all want it to be perfect like the first.

Ya, I would rather wait a while and get a really polished game than have a game now that doesn't seem that great.

I got into the beta for Red Alert 3, and the game has a lot of potential in my opinion ,but it needs a whole lot of polishing and its release date is coming up pretty quick. I'm glad Blizzard doesn't operate like that.

What are you talking about? Zealots do not have team colored blades. Lol. They're just blue no matter the team color.

    As they should be.

Could you imagine yellow or brown psi blades. Horrible.

Can't remember which screenshot it was on but the Pink Archon made me laugh a lot. Pink suddenly became a violent color.

The most recent videos we have (PAX) show Zealots with team-colored blades.

Sorry if this is a noob question but what is that light blue energy field in the middle of battle? Is it a high templar ability?

It's force field. It's basically an impassible obstacle with no hitpoints, kind of like a timed portable choke. Very handy indeed.

You can't do that. If you cast it on a unit, it gets thrown out, much like how landing Terran buildings push units out from underneath.

well you can encase units with it, but you would need to cast it from 3-5 times. 150-250 energy is not worth sealing off 1 to 6 units. imo.

@kuvasz if he tires to say that you cant encase units:

all you need to do is cast it im a few place that cause them to not be albe to move or move much. for the Ultralisk,, you would need at least (if you are in an open space) 3 or 4 force fields to make them almost immobile.
