I was watching some old SC2 videos and noticed something I didn't see before and I don't think anyone's posted about in this video: [youtube]p_UxFaxEdaQ[/youtube] At 1:00-1:05, when the queen surfaces, in the background, you see a nearby planet or moon has recently had part of it blasted off, as a meteor wouldn't break a planet apart like that. Could this have been a hint from Blizzard that the zerg would be attacked first? The way it looks, the planet was likely covered with zerg. ofc this is an old video and even if it was a hint, it could be outdated in terms of Blizzard's current ideas for the campaign, but everyone knows that Blizzard likes to throw in hidden hints about game developments, and people rarely seem to discuss if the zerg in fact aren't the first attackers, but are attacked first.
That appears to be Red Stone, the Terran strip-mined planet. Char is probably near Red Stone, though I doubt it is canon at that stage of development. -Psi
I don't know what to think about the planet as proof of the zerg being attacked first but it would definitely make alot of sense.
If that is an old video then theres no probability for that to be assuring since blizzard has the traditional trait of being a major balloon popper! ^_^
this zerg reveal trailer ... did it said anything about its location.. i dont remember it being char..
Only thing i can see is that they have the old infestor model at 58 and we all know they are changing that. That could be any number of planets or moons probably just something that they wanted to look cool in the video.
true, just wanted to point out something that I'd never noticed before. Anyway, something recent did happen there, as the area hit is still red hot and hasn't cooled yet. And the queen looks up to it, meaning that even underground, she likely knew something happened, meaning that Kerrigan would know as well.

So it looks like most of us have agreed it go be a hint, but now we have to asked ourselves if we think they have changed the story as to what happened, because Blizzard is always changing things to make them better.
Thats why I mentioned that the movie was old, I believe it was before the trilogy idea, so even if it was a hint before, it might not be now.
