Just wanted to say Hi, introduce myself. I had the pleasure of playing with TanNeon today, getting back into the beta after the long hiatus and being busy.
    A little about me:
    I'm from Wisconsin,USA
I play Zerg, just qualified as gold, but was doing well in Plat just before phase 1 was down.
I have a son, Wyatt, and he's the coolest kid you'll ever meet, he just turned three.
I'm 23, and just bought a house with my long time girlfriend/unofficial Fiancee.
    I love music!
I don't watch TV, unless it's football. I'll use netflix, I really like movies, but I don't waste my time just staring at a TV screen for hours, at least online you're interactive-chatting/gaming/looking at porn-i mean pictures of puppies.

I tend to make long, opinionated statements, but I also try to stay objective and fair. Just because I think you're wrong doesn't mean I'm saying I'm right.
    Um....
I excercise regularly, my job is phsyical(although i JUST got laid off) and don't look like your typical gamer.
I started playing starcraft the original almost as soon as it came out, and have played off and on ever since.
I like watching Youtube broadcasts by HD and Husky. I have tried that "Day 9" guy, but I've never heard him say anything about starcraft, because his intros are so long and he is so long winded that I want to reach through the screen, shake him by his ears and scream GET TO THE F***ING POINT,MAN! I'm not talking trash, he has a reputation, but holy ****, Even I'm getting bored typing about myself and it's only been like 4 or 5 minutes. This guy rambles on forever and never gets to his points. I've never heard him mention starcraft because he's to content thinking I give a **** listening to whatever he has to say otherwise.

I also realize the hipocrisy of my mini day9 rant, because that's essentially what I'm doing-what I just said I don't like him doing. But ****, I don't sit and record myself for an hour a day blabbering on. He is borderline Narcissistic.
But I regress, this post isn't about random tangents bashing day9, I'm not even sure where that came from.
Nice to meet you all and see you on the forums!

Welcome to the forum good sir. I would try to duplicate your impressive sentence structure and grammatical skills, but alas, I fear I cannot. Though our zone of the internet might appear a aggregation of absurdity, our senior affiliates know better and will try to construct elongated arguments. Our moderators are fair, although a tad truant at times. We be an incommensurable fellowship, but our colloquy are often convivial and amiable, and, albeit our dialogue many a time cascades into altercation, all present are magnanimous to our fellow men.

this thread is now about cake

Welcome to the forums! But I do agree with you about Day9. He talks rather slowly, especially when compared to Husky or HD, and sometimes I'm just like "I get it, move on." But I guess that's just his style. Usually I just skip through the ten minute long intros about his personal life. :l

My personal preference is day9. He doesn't just throw down a commentary and say here, and gets a ton of views.
I don't mean to bash on Husky or HD. I absolutely love them both, but I feel like Day9 actually knows the game. From him, I have definitely gotten better than I ever will from Husky or HD.

Edit: Oh ya, welcome to the forums ^^

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome!
ijffdrie: you are too humble, lol. Impressive vernacular sir ^^
Caiaphas: That's what I've been told about day9-skip forward lol
Sniper: Good point, day9 is renowned for his insightful view into the game more than just a spectator, but for me practice is the mother of all something and I've played enough to know, but I guess that sounds conceited to say I can't learn anything-or have a lot to learn!

Good we can all agree or disagree just as easily
