Hey Everyone, Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I was around for the original starcraft beta and played starcraft competitively for a number of years (nothing serious, I won a few action figures). Here I am 24 years old now, ( I was 13 at the time), and I've decided I really want to get back into Starcraft 2 in a very competitive fashion. I'm going to be participating in the Starcraft 2 beta, and when the actual game comes out, I'm in a position where I can take off from work for as long as I want, and will probably take 2 weeks to a month off off and play the game nonstop sleeping for maybe 4-5 hours a night. Yes I suppose that is a rather gay statement, but when it comes down to it, I am a complete nerd. In any case, my goals through the beta phase (which I'm assuming a lot of you guys are part of), are to find a good group of guys and get a kickass clan going, ideally the premier starcraft II clan. As a web developer, I want to give the clan a ridiculous website complete with information, full rosters, and forums for any clan member / lover of starcraft to participate in. If anyone else shares the same ideals as I do for this game, let me know! Otherwise, you'll see me around the forums as I prepare to completely engulf myself into this game

I said the same thing to Zealot.. Give me a channel to meet in and I'll be happy to set up a clan chan and ventrillo servers. I've got bots running on proxies so I can load up at the very least twenty. More then enough to set up a clan chan.
Joe, we already have shamans for our channel. -is clan empire too- Luminaire, hallo and welcome. Hvordan går det? (how are you) Instead of starting a clan from scratch, join one that is already established. We (Clan Empire) have had a clan for five years, and are planning on switching to SC2 when it comes out. We currently have D2, WC3, and Halo 3 divisions as well. Though not as played for us as BW is. Our channel is Clan Emp, on the USEast server.

hey all, and thanks sniper for the info. I wouldn't mind joining up with an already established clan of course, I just want to be with the top guys. I'm spending a lot of money making sure my pc is top of the line and like I said while I will be playing beta a lot, for the first few weeks after it's released my life will consist of either playing or sleeping, with very little eating and bathroom breaks in between . I want to be in the top 10 and I'd love to play competitively in tournaments again. As far as I'm concerned anyone that is already part of a starcraft 2 forum when the game is likely another freakin year away is probably going to be playing this game a lot
No you must have misunderstood something. 98% including me are just here because we suck (prefere to discuss a game than playing it) and dont have a life.
I once had a cracked version, but I cant find it anymore. But I still got it installed (but the last 3 months it hasnt worked...)
I play like 5 games a day, and can beat about 90% of the forum goers one vs one, so idk what you're talking about. Lum, there are better players out there then in our clan. We do have a few really really good ones, and are always trying to recruit the ones that are good but not in our clan. I am not one of the really really good ones, but am decent.
