    From:
    somewhere....not sure
when you say areas? do you mean location? if so then you must place locations on your map first
setting a location is as easy as pressing ctrl+l (or selecting location layer) and then just make boxes on your map

starforge is the fastest for triggering, but definately not the easiest. if u want eay triggering, use the original editor. the above location information is true.

I think I know what you're saying, so I'm going to try to help you here...:D

Hey guys, I know to open the trigger window in Xtra editor, but there's one problem. How do I find out the Locations for my triggers? I've looked into the map but I just can't seem to find the Locations. Knowing the triggers, but not the locations won't do anything. Someone please help me, :D!

Basically, you need to create these "Trigger areas" (More referred to as Locations). You can create these by simply just clicking the Location tool and dragging wherever you want a location. When you create your first, it will be called "Location 0" (I think.)

From there, you can trigger specific things to happen either in, or outside of the location. I'll give you two examples.

EX 1. We want to move 3 zerglings to Location 0.

To do on map: Basically here, we want to create another location. Create 3 zerglings, then create a location that surrounds the zerglings. The zerglings must be inside the location! This new location is titled "Location 1".

Actions: Now we want to get them to move. We simply use the action "Order" to do this.

"Order all units at Location 1 to attack Location 0."

That's what it should look like!

I hope that this has given you a basic idea of what you were looking for. If not, sorry!
