    Name: (TeHazard.673)
    Race: (Protoss)
    Rank: (Silver)
Looking For: (coach prefferably, or 1v1 practise partner from any race)
    Server: (NA)

    Conatact:
to contact me ill be in-game all day today, or send me an email at antdarlos@gmail.com
i cant afford to keep checking the forums because of my 1gb a month on my phone, but please reply here as well as email or *** in sc2.
    why im here:

i come to the forums seeking help, coaching preferably since im a student i cant afford to pay anyone (sorry) but if there is anyone willing to help me out it would be great.
bought the game few months ago and almost sold it that week.. my average apm skipes alot, sometimes it'll be 50-70 over 10 or so matches and like today it wont peek 40 :/
im having extrele trouble early, mid and late game - i really dont have a 'build' i just do whatever, which is half the problem..

please im in desperate help to get out of the damn silver league.. if i dont get anywhere soon i'll likely sell my battlenet account and buy mw3 :/

    additional info:

im living by myself studying tafe so i have to use the net off my phone to play sc2, on weekends i travel back to my parents (and download as much as possible xD ) so during the week i wont be able to get on any chat sites or voice programs unfortunately.
however on the weekend i have free reign on asdl2 so teamspeak, msn, steam, whatever your program is ill be on it for coaching and such.

Given that you are silver, you aren't at the level yet to be coached, you need to get your basics and your mechanics on par before hand. Like suggested watch youtube videos, play a lot, know your hotkeys.

lol.... i could tell you every hotkey in the game, all the unit counters and for all the protoss units their attack/range/speed.... thinking i dont know the mechanics because im in silver is just stupid.. and i watch more streams/youtube videos than i play..

watching archived videos is like watching someone play pacman and telling them to eat all the dots. and lookout for the ghosts.. i need real-time feedback of my games. didnt come here for people to assume im bad because i ranked lower than them..

anyone wanna buy my battle.net account? :/

lol mechanics is not knowing unit stats. I can only agree with the others in here. It's time you played the game for what it is and improved unnoticed rather than outright training yourself - it's easier to reach the level the others are talking about.

And do yourself a favour and stop sulking over a game.

    for protoss mechanics are:
    - constantly producing probes
    - managing your chronoboost, such as chronoboosting the right thing at the right time
    - avoid getting supply blocked (like never)
    - scouting
    - pre-positioning your army
    - map control
    - checking/preventing any possible incoming harass
    - harass yourself
    - expanding
    - looking for windows of opportunity to attack/expand
    - USING ONLY HOTKEYS
    - always checking your minimap
    - anticipating your opponent's next move
    - upgrades
    - being pro-active
    - micro-ing your army (positioning, keeping as many units alive, arranging the order etc..)
    - doing 2 prong attacks
    - barely looking at your base

These things seem pretty obvious, but its really freaking hard to do all of it at the same time. The best way to practice it, is by playing. Watching videos and replays is very informative as it teaches you decision making but not mechanics. When I was in platinum/diamond I thought I had good mechanics, until I watched a replay of a oGsMC in his POV, then i realized I was delusional.

If you are afraid of tarnishing your record on ladder, play custom games.
