Hey guys, here is Cremelian Wars X, a turn based strategy game that was inspired by a combination of starcraft and advanced wars. The game basically involves around you microing your units to kill off your opponent, with a bunch of twists along the way. It features scriptable game play, a fully functional game editor, a custom sound track, and traditional pixel art! http://cremelianwarsx.googlecode.com/files/Cremelian Wars 0.79.zip - - I've been working on this game on and off for more than a year in my free time, and am happy to say that's in the final stages of development (i.e. content generation). If you have any comments about the gameplay, or anything else in general, I'd love to hear what you think. ~Eugene R Oh yeah, and if you guys are interested in helping make maps, feel free to pm me. I have coded in a trigger engine that's akin to the one in starcraft. Literally, I'd take a screenshot of the starcraft trigger GUI and try to replicate it in java
Hey Lobsterlegs. Thanks for testing. Since you're the first one to do so, you get your own special version of the game http://cremelianwarsx.googlecode.com/files/Cremelian Wars Lobsterlegs Version.zip I'll also add a delay to the end turn button.
Ah, alright. If I have some time after the midterms, I might try to figure out how to produce this as an app. I'm pretty sure java is avaliable on most cellphones, so it could work out pretty well.
None of the campaign missions have this option, but if you look in the upper right corner of the "custom" map, you can see factories and such that you can build from. I haven't programmed the AI to build and capture properties yet, which is why you don't see this mechanic used in the campaign.
