Me neither, but it just seems to be great no matter what's about. Its supposed to be based on the game Fahrenheit though, which was a pseudo adventure game with cool cinematic like fighting sequences.. ala God of War. Combine that with good plot and you got win.
Yeah but the good plot isn't the easiest part of making a video game. It's usually what makes or breaks a game.
Holy shork. That's pretty insane. The quality of the graphics themselves was flawless, though the animation was a bit shoddy at times. Still, there were several times throughout where I suddenly remembered it's CGI.
Well, in the video it said VIRTUAL ACTOR SIMULATOR... Im not entirelly sure what that means, but imagine a guitar hero... just you'r not playing music, you'r acting XD
I saw a gameplay trailer and was disappointed. What was going on was thrilling, but all the player does in combat is pressing the right button at the right time. Watching for PS3 button shapes to pop up is distracting and ugly.
Apparently it's supposed to be more of an emotionally interactive chose-your-own-way adventure as opposed to a more conventional gameplay-game. Not that I care. Playstations are for chumps. I'll just read the plot summary on Wikipedia sometime and be glad that I didn't have to buy or enjoy the game. Take that, society!
supposedly there are many ways of getting your character killed and when you character dies, there's no game over, you carry on the game with a different storyline of a different character but its still based all around about the Origami Killer. It's truly an innovative title and its not for children since there are mature contents in the game
rofl I hope It will get a PC release like Fahrenheit did. And yes, you have the buttons showing up, just like in God of War. I don't find it distracting at all. True that sometimes the animation lacks.. The lip synching basically at times is a little bit off, and that's when you go like... OHH its cgi. But who knows, maybe they'll fix it by the time it gets released. That trailer afaik was released around 2006. AND take a look at this. The actress you see on the video is actually a real actress. She did the scene while being ''recorded'' using the motion capture technique. And they even used her own appearence as well. CHECK IT OUT YO: Spoiler This is the real one. Pretty similar huh?
+ very good graphics - very bad posture and movement animation - no lip rounding or even vague following of the sounds she says - poor facial expressions Developers need to lose the focus-on-graphics mentality and strive to have a cyber character move and act like what it's supposed to depict. The current games I've seen all go head over heels to get OMGrealistik graphics and they fail to comprehend that everything they create reeks of being artificial because their creation looks real, but doesn't behave real. With current technology (based on my knowledge of it which is several years behind) it would be very easy to fix the talking aspect, yet they don't even try. As for the movement, I think if they gave realistic mass and flexibility values to the bodyparts it would greatly improve, although at the same time would eat much more resources because of the physics calculations. The game itself looks boring, especially after reading the posts here.
You know what would be amazing? If xbox 360 used Natal and this somehow. That would put video gaming at a whole new level of interaction.
