Rumored to be the hardest final boss in arcade existence, some of its attack patterns were actually officially confirmed to be fully unavoidable, meaning it is impossible to survive them.

Certain attacks literally would cover the entire screen, and the seemingly random projectile patterns would give even experienced players trouble.

The boss was basically designed to be unkillable without having more quarters for continues(gain 3 lives). It was a way to get people to spend more money, because your likely to do so if your fighting the final enemy in the game.

    This is madness!!
His attack patterns are pretty though ^_^

I've heard of a rogue-like game where the way to defeat final boss was considered an exploit by game's creators

What is the point into buying more credits when you are at the final stage of an arcade game?

Unless you have money for free, or that you can play your remaining lives in a new game, with everything reset, I just can't understand.

Regarding this game, maybe you have to turn on some option or special you have picked up or purchased earlier in the game, and/or to shoot down some specific parts of the enemy first?

The final boss in the Amstrad version of the shoot'em up "R-type" was virtually impossible I remember, and the boss in Street Fighter III: third strike might be a complete bastard as well sometimes.

Because it'd be boring to go over the levels again? And also for the feeling you get after beating such a hard game. And I doubt there is a weak spot for this boss. Judging by the skills of the player, he knows everything about the game. It was pretty sick how he dodged the missiles.

If it's boring to go over the levels, why would you play the game?
As far as I remember, the end cinematics of arcade games are usually pretty short and unoriginal, so I am a bit surprised the only point into playing such game would just to go to the end. I used to play arcade games mainly for the instant action and/or because I had some time to kill, and therefore personnaly never used the remaining credits to continue the game. The whole point to me is to have as much fun as you can with what you have, and if you lose, just face it.
