Okay, I was playing Starcraft. I did a single player, 1 v 1 against the computer on big game hunters. I was Protoss and the computer was Zerg. I was doing good, I got my little zealot squadron ready to rush the enemy base. So, I took 18 zealots, rushed to the enemy base, and when I got there, all they had was a hatchery, two overlords, and five drones, all of which were mining. They had no units other than the drones. And they only had a hatchery, nothing else. So, of course, I annhililated the base and it said I won! So I went back and watched the replay, and it was true: They sat and mined the whole time. They didn't have any other bases either. I have no idea why this happened.
my friend found out that if you wall with pylons somtimes a zerg computer will not attac the pylons they just run along the side of it its funny and help full but dosnt allwas work stupid aI
Oh man I should've grabbed a dark archon and mind controlled a drone, then build my own zerg army too! Crap.
That's a typical glitch for Zerg AIs on money maps (Yes, Big Game Hunters is a money map!) It seems that the Zerg AI is easily overwhelmed by the sheer amount of resources available to them. i would like to call this the "Superstar Syndrome" where one has so much money, one does not know what to do with it. Either that or you could say that StarCraft's AI isn't very flexible.
BGH is not a money map... You need to expand to gain more minerals and gas, something you dont need to do on a money map... I have seen that bug once before. I think there is no real reason for it, its just 10 years to old...
You don't need to expand in the version that people online play, all the mineral fields have 20000 minerals and gas is also 50000. Hardly anyone playes the regular version anymore.
OK. I havent played online in years now, so i thought he just talked about the normal BHG. Perhaps that explanes why the bug happend...
I also noticed that replays for "map settings" games, like sc risk, never work right. On risk maps, the units just stand there and nothing happens the whole game.
