Hacking

I love Starcraft, but since its an old game, its easy to hack (NOT THAT I HACK, BUT WHAT I SAY IS TRUE). Most people i play are skilled (nvm all of them are skilled), most of them hack. How can u make 9 siege tanks in 5 min, with 1 upgrade on weapons and armor? ??? ??? ???

 

When you talk about hack, it's prorgrammers reverse-engineer using C programming to either
1. force you to disconnect/drop using buffer overflow.
2. remove fog-of-war.
3. stack units/building.

It's possible for Bliz to fix them, just Bliz chose not to.

 

I don't think it's possible to hack it so you get more money or anything. Because you have the starcraft client too, so yor game would crash if that was forced to happen. The only things hacks can do is say, remove fog of war, becase that can be done to one side and wouldn't affect you.

 

Yes it is.. I think I have a replay where a friend of mine played vs a guy who got loads of minerals..

When you see the replay you can see that the Comandcenter is blowing up many times very fast and then suddenly it stops and his money are raising.. :-\

Have you ever convinced someone that you hacked? people will take your word for it even though you have nothing to show for it. I once convinced someone that I had a "Scout-movement" hack, that allowed me to move my Scouts... and I wasn't even using Scouts.

 

Well, most hackers download a DLL inserting program, which will make everything in the game crazy. I once downloaded a pack such as this, and I was too busy trying to put commands in to do things instead of actually playing the game, and I gave up on it. Glad I did. It was funny though, you could put in a command while the hack was on, and you could play the Zerg song on other player's computers. It was funny to watch everyone get sooo confused. But I knew what I was doing was cheating, and it was not right, so I quit.

 

Making people listen to music is not cheating. It would be fun to watch everyone typing confused messages to eachother and you saying, "wtf? oh lets play anyway"

 

Whats wrong with the Zerg music? ;D

I don't know how to do that cose I don't use hacks!
My friend lost allthough you could see that the hacker was a biig n00b even with hacks

I once had a match at an official blizzard map and I was playing protoss. After a few minutes or so I was pumping out my first zealots and before I knew I got overrun by like 8 ultralisks :S What kind of cheat must that be then?

 

Well, I guess either that or you are REEEALLLY bad at starcraft

 

Look at the words 'few' and 'minutes'. Not compatible with 'ultralisk'

Well, for patch 1.15 there is a money hack. Zerg players can just press "delete" on a larva and instantly get ~500 minerals. Larva turns into an egg, then instantly cancels and player gets the money. I was playing some noob who had this, and when i went to scout his base 2 minutes into the game, he had around 20 creep colonies and maybe 30 hatcheries. Amazingly, all this guy did was pump zerglings, and by the time he rushed me i killed them all with a choke and firebats. ;D Since the guy didnt expand and only had 1 geiser for gas, i ended up beating the hacker.

Its still EXTREMELY cheap, so watch out for it. In the first 5 seconds of the game the hacker can press delete 3 times and already has like 1550 mins.

But you hit delete to "morph" the larva.
