Have you ever had that gut wrenching feeling that all is lost in a game even though at first glance it might not seem so? I believe there are a myriad of us who will often good game when our entire army gets wiped out or when our mineral lines are destroyed in a second.

I for one am stern believer of never going down without a good fight. Yea sure, many a times I would lose the game eventually. But there are times where the tables are turned.

Here is one good example of why fighting to the bitter end should always be the only option for us =)

    Title of Vid: -
Idra quits a potentially won game vs mma

Okay just want to clear things up with what I believe happened..

MMA destroyed his CC because he misclicked the destructive rocks, and you can see his reaction at 0:20

As with Idra quiting, he though all his drones were destroyed by that marine drop, but he actually sent them off to the gas depot. This was probably a misclick and he wasnt aware of it, because at 1:16 when after he quits, all the drones come out.

I for one don't leave till I'm dead dead, unless there really is no possible way to win. Like your pylons are all dead and theres an army in your base at that very second. I like to stay while I'm losing, cus that's when you actually get good with working with what you got.

My main 2v2 partner tends to lose hope early but he doesn't leave because I yell at him not to. And then 4 out of 5 times we win. Incidentally, he likes to slack even when we're winning, unlike me, because I like to keep practising multi-tasking. I also feel similarly to Takaim with the managing what you've got left principle since that improves your game too.

Agreed at the 2v2 situation. If your partner can keep them busy long enough while they're killing him and transfer you his minerals, it can often times turn into an advantage as the other team will slack off and you can hit them pretty hard during the next 5 minutes.

The best part though is deffinetly when the 2v2 partner leaves and you get 2K minerals and 700 gas.

Unfortunately, you can easily make a wrong judgement when the game is lost and when it isn't. Especially in SC2, much more than in Broodwar, people tend to sit on their asses way too long to "utilize their advantage" - I've seized many wins already this way.
