    http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/CyberPower_X58_Configurator/

Trying to spend the least amount possible for a new desktop.
I just bought a macbook probably 6 months ago but it can't really play SC2 at high level.
So debating if I should get a new desktop or laptop.
But found this while surfin a little.

Not sure if I should upgrade anything on it so I thought I'd ask you guys.

    Any help?

Or does anyone know a site or place I can get something for cheaper and still decent?

    Thanks!

Upgrade the power supply (I recommend the Corsair 650TX or CoolerMaster Silent Pro 600 or higher). Replace the GT 220 video card with something faster (I recommend the GTX 460). That should make for a system many people from here (particularly those with ancient hardware) will salivate over.

While I do prefer to build my own, CyberPowerPC's prices are pretty reasonable. If you're not up to the task or just can't be bothered to troubleshoot in case something goes awry during the build process, then by all means, go pre-built. Another plus is they use regular parts unlike big OEM's such as Dell.

If I knew how to actually put it all together then maybe I would. But I don't feel like messing stuff up lol.
And I don't know anyone who does.

Thanks for the advice though. :)

Edit: And so those are the only two things I would need to upgrade to play on what level of settings?

And should I buy a monitor from there or think I can find a cheaper one somewhere?

Also haha sorry for all the questions, but i've always had a laptop to use wifi...how do I use wifi on a desktop?

Another question... So those desktops don't come with Windows 7 or anything pre loaded? I have to actually buy it? :(

    Ultra. ;)

Get it elsewhere. Nowadays, you can often find a nice 22" on sale for $150 or thereabouts.

You're going to have install a wifi adapter, either USB or PCI are pretty common. CyberPower actually offers you some wifi adapters on the same page as the monitors (just scroll down). If your PC is located close to the router, though, I suggest hooking it up via cable. Much more reliable.

You can add Windows 7 on the Software & Services page. Home Premium ($104) should be good enough for typical home use.

Alright. Thank you for the quick response.

I'm moving soon so I'll have to check and see if there is a cord I can just use for my internet.

And dang. Didn't want to have to add W7. lol 104 bucks!
