For tomorrow. Or today. Since it's 4:28. Going out to my uncle's lot of land by the beach. More removal and butchering of dead annoying heavy fallen over trees. But just for the day. All day. Until late. So I'll be back the day after. Plus I have new gloves to wear when I cut wood. With an axe. That my dad sharpened yesterday. It's weird. I don't get tired cutting log after log after log and I'm so calm when I do it. What the f*** was I talking about?
I got a weird hand bruise/blister thing last time because the glove palms were like, eroded. Bai... in a few hours. OHOHOH. *Logs off to get sleep*
Their honestly trusting you with an axe? I wouldn't let you handle one. You get to hold the first aid kit instead.
Except when my aunt yelped nearby because a grasshopper jumped out from under a leaf and scared her, and in turn her yelp scared me, I chip the log I'm cutting, and the axe blade sinks into the ground no less than an inch away from my shoe. And then when we were packing up the land lot I was emptying a jug of water (we keep it in a corner with soap for a "handwashing station") into the really hot ashes in the firepit, and I just couldn't react fast enough. Poured it in, it evaporated the instant it touched the ashes, and my the left half of my right hand gets cooked. So close calls, more removal of dead trees, an alarmingly large spider, and the convincing of my dad to buy me a computer all for me, brand new. Owait what was that last part?
