Decided to post a replay of me gaming, could use some advice. I'm alright, but could deffinetly improve. Any and all advice would be nice.... >_> Forget about the **** talking at the end, got real butthurt for losing to noobs. I'm the red Protoss.
Maybe you should stop playing games and start doing things where you don't have to overcome an opposing side? Would do both us and yourself a favour.
at the 6 min mark till the 11 min mark you made no probes this is bad you then got an expansion, though you have no probes to move to the expansion which means haveing said expansion is going to cost you 400 mins and get you very little unless you going mass sent. so build more probes and tell us its an ffa also kuvasz wtf?
Oh yeah, it's a FFA. >_> Mb.. I don't get your comment Kuv, elaborate? Yeah, the probes thing is really iffy with me. Sometimes I'm ontop and others I just underproduce to hell. Caught up between the whole units or workers thing in my mind.
Alright, here is a legit 1v1 replay. A PvT. No sh*t talking involved. Please tell me what you think. This was sort of a bad game to be honest, kept forgetting to do things and my macro was terrible. x.x Ended up winning regardless though. Can't wait to get outa freaking silver league in 1v1. -.-
Apart from some mistakes you surely realize (f.e. idle probe after building gateway, not using chrono enough) i don't really dig your build: 2 gate zealot push isn't really good against terran. Since they do have wall and marines and scv's, they can kill infinite number of zealots. It's much better against zerg, and against terran you can even skip zealots altogether and go straight for stalkers, or go for defensive zealot / sentry / stalker build. To do that, you would go core instead of second gate, and i really think that's the best option (to also get warp gates asap). Also, with your build, if he went fast reapers, he could've done a lot of damage before you got your stalker out. And one more thing is you had too many production buildings for your economy, at least 2 gates and stargate were unnecessery. Oh, and also when you were ahead, it was unnecessary to push out with small groups, you could've waited and make some decent army. I had a terran opponent today, who made similar build to your enemy. I went for 2 gate robo push, with 2 sentries, 2 immortals and as many stalkers as i could get, and i destroyed him without bringing in reinforments (he had like 2 thors, marauders and marines). I only say that because you went for 4 gate robo and early zealots, and that's like 6 - 8 more stalkers you could've had.
Aight. Didn't know what he was at first so I went what I went in the beggining for scouting purposes and such, and wanted to see if I could get into the guys base. As for the small army part I wanted to just keep him on his toes. When people have to deal with things like enemies that are constantly giving them a pain in the *** they tend to screw up and slow down, atleast in the lower leagues. Usually I'm a lot better about doing two things at once but I slipped last game. Anyway, thanks for the advice bro. Better replay in my oppinion...
No problem, i'll look at that other replay later. I know what you mean about keeping the pressure, but i think it may be a mistake, if you have the advantage after winning a battle, that does not always mean you can finish the game right away, it's sometimes better to expand and deny his expansion to build up that advantage.
