    I nuke the odd expo without detection, but other than that, no, not really.

    i use them. they do extra damage to light armor. so i find them good against terran infantry and protoss; the ghost can kill their shields with emp.

    All good terran players use ghosts against protoss, against T or Z, no. Emp is a huge game changing ability. Where I would normally build my first factory against Z or T against P I would definitely go ghosts. No point in nuking expos because they will just move probes and then return them as the nuke wont kill the nexus. Sometimes I nuke a defensive setup at a ramp to force the units (particularly siege tanks) away or to kill a few buildings in the way but usually they often have detection so I don't really depend on this strategy.

    I use ghosts as nukers and scouts usually i'll only have one at a time, since they're so damn expensive.I mean 150 min and gas? a bit of a rip off.

    A lot of people use them, I was watching the Triple Strike tournament on LiveStream about 6 hours ago and damn they were use a lot against the Protoss for their EMPs. EMPs are the most effective thing they have atm. It's so easy to spot a missile launch compared to in SC1.

    when you use ghost there`s a chance that you might ending up being rushed witch i much prefer a blitzkrieg technique

    I hope Boxer does, anyways. Very entertaining when he nukes in sc1.

    I sometimes nuke concentrations of enemy units massing outside my base or expo. Unfortunately, Snipe is just too weak. I wish it cost a lot more energy (or had a long cooldown) and did more damage at greater range.
     
  10. It would probably be more viable to nuke if the nuke's warning symbol wasnt the size of a command center

    EMP is great.
    Snipe and Nuke are meh. Really the only use I can find for a nuke is to soften up defenses. But if the defenses are so good that you need a nuke to help you get through, then the enemy almost certainly has detectors.
    I am also irritated at myself for forgetting to hit the hold fire button for him, so he runs in cloaked and promptly engages the enemy, screwing my cover.

    i was just thinking what if the ghosts abilty of being invis an be toggled on or off, and having only such abilities such as the snipe or emp enabled depending in what mode he is in

    Nukes are very fun to throw at expansions or if you find a spot without detection/a place you can throw a dropship at a person's main.

    Snipe I do so love against Zerg and other Terran.

    EMP is... EMP. It's glorious against Protoss.

    That's just what YOU as the nuker see. The enemy sees only a little red dot.
