Getting minerals

I didn't see any post on this matter, so I thought I'd ask:

How does the mineral system work? Do we get minerals for each post or something? And is it possible to increase my mineral income? Like, some people have 20k + minerals, is it because they've posted 1000 replies the last 2-3 years?

 

Strange, I could have swarn the vB Experience talked a bit about mineral gain...

Anyway, minerals are awarded for each post you make. IIRC one will also recieve minerals for thanking posts and adding to reputation. Another thing to note is the amount of minerals gained per post depends on the length of said post, i.e. a paragraph will net you more minerals than a short sentence.

Please fix that, LK. The current bank is just useless in my opinion.

 

The bank interest is compounded daily so it only takes 4 days to actually make a profit.
