I was looking to get a new gaming headset as my brother needs one and I saw apair for pretty cheap and looks pretty decent. My current logitech usb plug and play ones are not bad, but i cannot use both speakers and the headset together when playing as the usb defaults and mutes all sound into only the headphones. This is a drawback for me and I would rather have a input for bth mic n sound and be able to use my speakers so that when my son is watching he can hear at the same time.

Im currently using these logitech ones but people complain that the sund is echoey.

The creative fatality or the agama ones are my current options in the price range, but i would like to go prob with the creative in the input vers.
    Creative $36.99
    Agama $29.99

Only headphones in my ENTIRE LIFE that I have been happy with are Bose Tri-Ports. Most awesome sound you can find. Problem is, they are still $130, and no mic.

I have to have headphones that go all the way around the ear with padding, I've managed to break the cartiledge in both ears, very painful to have anything pressing against them for over a couple of hours, so I loved my Steelseries headset from about 3 years ago. It finally started to fall apart with 4-6 hour a day use, can't complain about that, so I recently replaced it.

Very disappointing, new one doesn't sound as good, and it just feels cheaper, but I still don't think I could find a better headset for under a couple of hundred dollars that goes all the way around my ears.

Bose Tri-Port is circumaural (around the ear) and very lightweight. A bit bass-heavy but I think that actually makes it pretty suited for gaming. Alas, it's not a headset.
