Yes I know, I game too much. Can't help it. Anyway... now that I have a powerful PC, I'd like to play good games. Most of the old ones I played them all (the one on the previous thread I did) SO now I'd like to know if there's any MODERN games that are good as hell. Of course that all of the ''known'' ones I've played and liked, so please don't mention Fallout 3, GTA IV, Sims 3, Crysis, Prototype, Xmen, Plants vs Zombies, Mass Effect, etc etc. Mention those games that are not that known, games that were made by ''B'' companies, and/or mention games that are very profound in terms of storyline and gameplay. Those are the kind of games I truly love. Example: Silent Hill 3, Indigo Prophecy, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, Max Payne 1-2. Its very annoying to see all major gaming communities all ramble about how good these 2-3-4 games are (mostly senseless FPS's or even more senseless RTS or RPG's, while there are so many underdogs out there and no one cares to bring them to the light, maybe because they're paid to only review games from big companies or what, I don't know. Well, I HOPE this thread will flourish, hopefully we'll unveil many good games to the masses :O
Agreed, so does frogger. You dont know if that car is going right or left, because its a stupid redneck who cant put a turn signal on. Very strategic. Btw, how the f ing hell do I have more posts than you.
Worlf of goo.. Spore, although you probably already tried it.. umm.. Black & white 2 is fun for a while.. If you have a ps2 try any of the Shin Megami Tensei games, they are all great. Persona 4 has the most amazing story and great gameplay
Spore.. check. b&w 2.. check. Chess...checkmate (?) I'll try Persona 4. Ps: Sniper, I joined in 07, but I was a lurker back then, I only started posting around mid '08, and even then, only sporadically so. Just now you have the pleasure of making my acquaintance
Knights of the Old Republic, both one and two. It's like practically infinite replayability cause of how you can handle everything like 5 different ways. Prototype is pretty open, though it has a linear storyline. Fable D) The Deus Ex series. The Witcher has a crapload of random stuff. World of Warcraft. Even though it utterly raped the lore, the majority of backstory is in WoW.
KOTOR II is pretty much the ONLY game I've played where it's funner to be good than evil. Light Side Visas Marr is awesome, although stupid Bao-Dur won't become a Jedi
Dude, the real deal is You as sith + Visas sith + old lady can't remember her name sith. All of them with force lightning. You shoot win from your fingers. And yes, being bad means you're a mindless rebel that kills everything and pretty much spoils the storyline, so its always better to be good storywise. But dark side powers > light side powers
Whatever dude. Dual lightsabers, Master Speed, and Master Flurry. Basically, you do 300+ damage PER ROUND. And that's just the Exile. Throw in Visas (who kicks ass and is awesome) and Bao-Dur and his remote (or HK-47, he's killer with Master Snipe or Master Rapid Shot [depending on if you like rifles or pistols]) and you've won.
But you need to get into melee to do that, while I can shoot you from afar Practically though, I don't use the old lady, I just use Visas with master flurry and HK-47 with master rapid fire and a kickass rifle. The Evil triflecta D: . I lol @ HK's evil but sometimes funny remarks. And I like how the HK's talk too. Baodur IMO is a puss, I always isolate him because he doesn't understand the powa of da dark sideeeee. Plus, dark jedi robes are better looking and red sabres scream awesomeness. Bottom line is.. erase your game and start over (?) I'm waiting for SW: the old republic
