I was wondering what games people played while waiting for SC2.

I seem to be so immersed in SC2 that every other game can barely keep my attention for 30 min.

I am really looking forward to Left 4 Dead, that could be a good alternative and action packed game, but it's 124 days away....

Any new stuff that keeps your attention?

Starcraft Broodwar, Warcraft 3, AOE 2. I have tried many new rts games but they were really just bad, either nearly no multiplayer, no balance or just plan wierd.

I started playing SC over hamachi again. I'm in like 5 rooms and it's not too hard to set up a game. Then again, I haven't known SC for as long as most people here so that's why I'm not bored with it yet.

I dunno what to play. I am running out of games. :D I just finished Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3 (both which had horrible single player endings) and I've played HL2 and all the episodes in all difficulties. I really need a game with longevity. I game like... SC2. :/

The closest thing I have to play as a long time distraction is Spore, which won't be out in 70 days...

I'm playing Diablo 2 right now. But what I'm really waiting for is Spore, which again, won't be out for a few months.

Damn you all, now I feel the urge to go out and buy myself another copy of Diablo II.

I'm usually playing Brood War with friends, playing through Metroid Primes 1 and 2 again to try and get 100%, and COD4 on xbox.

...and Animal Crossing. I named my town Hell and my character Dante, and proceeded to make it the crappiest place to live that there's ever been

im playing orange box, FEAR, and Supreme Commander atm.
Supreme Commander is a good game if you really like, the "real-Time" world action. You can actually zoom in and out to see the whole world.
FEAR is just plain scary!!! but fun at the same time =]. i play FEAR in the morning so i dont wet my pants xD
and orange box is just orange box..yeah all those half life games and team fortess and portal n stuff...its fun =]

haha, I just started to read Hannibal (Harris, Thomas), and on page 186 there is a reference to Dante, and in the same moment I know thi was going to be very very scary :)
Dante was mad, Ive seen some movies/crimies based around Dante''s Hell.
But your place seems "nice" :D

Yeah I've been playing some serious TF2 lately, Sc:Bw, Titan Quest (which is better than diablo2 IMO) Especially in multiplayer (but it's better most probably due to the ''recent release'' of TQ.)

My computer is not that powerful to play Crisis, hardly got to the end of the demo with Normal Video Settings, 5fps

Maybe I'll try the demo of Spore and create a couple of flunky creatures for a pass time.

VC with such a weak computer, then you cant play TQ on a high grafic quality either too or? Because I thought the grafics was one of the best reasons to buy it.

How can you not have anything to play?!

    Left 4 Dead
    Call of Duty 5
    Fallout 3
    GTA IV (PC, out soon)
    Farcry 2

And you don't have to play the new games.
Any game will do fine as long as it's fun!

@furrer : Except on X-max (TQ mod) and in last act my computer is ok for high graphic.
Last act is a killer for my computer tho

@Lobsterlegs : Yeah my post was quite old.
I finished Spore, TQ multiple times, and got 91% of TF2's achivement now.

I have moved on to Fallout3 finished it and now playsing some serious L4D. Sadly for me Farcry 2 is far from something I can run on my computer.

It's going to be TF2 and L4D until SC2 comes out. Seems like a long way to go.
