I loaded the game--went to the site to create my account--then tried to download the client. I keep getting a message saying I have insufficient space. Also it said it would take 12 hours to download and I have a decent Cable modem connection. I have 932 GB free. It's only supposed to need 12GB so what gives??? I have uninstalled and tried a second time and the same thing happens.

1TB HDDs are not always recognized by games. For those GB is seen as MB. You can instal it though.

With 1TB of Space, I would never allocate that as one large hard drive. Then again, I've been using multiple drives for years. When I downloaded the UK SC client on Roadrunner Turbo (I know, weird right? UK game US internet) I got the game in 3 hours and nearly full speed. Are you sure the save folder you selected was a proper path? I would try saving it to c:\install or something and see if that works, unless you have multiple hard drives on the same computer...

DEFINITELY recommend multiple partitions in a drive that large.

I have a 750 in three sections. It's actually rather convenient to store games on one partition, music on another.
