Game Handles.. free for all?

Can anyone help me with this question.. When the game is released and its time to make game handles.. is it going to be a free for all? Or is there already a way to make one now with your battle.net account? Thanks.


also is it going to be like.. your handle is the only handle with that name in any realm/league/region/whatever?

i want a cool screen name like.. a 3 letter word one or.. something

 

You can hook it to a pre-existing Blizzard Account if you'd like or create a new one.

 

Does that mean all the good names are probably already taken?

 

Can't people have duplicate names now because of the character code?

I know Husky is complaining about a bunch of impostors because anyone can have the name "Husky," they just all have different character codes which aren't actually viewable in-game.
