    I might get SC2 as Ch. gift.

    My concern is:
    1. graphics card: NVidia 8600GT (1GB) is a bit oldish.
    Will it be enough, or should I rather "wish for" something else, as it will not go comfy on my pc
    2. also my op.sys is 64 bit - can that be a problem?

    Rest of specs seems to be OK;
    4 x 2.24
    8GB ram

    lol easily on ultra settings :p

    I've 1/5th of your pc and play quite smoothly :p

    Dunno about the 64 bit, but hell you've got 8GB ram, lol, that's a hard counter to 64bit :p

    You're fine to play it.

    I'm pretty sure it'll run on Ultra. If not, High.

    I've got a 512 card and 4gb of RAM, 4x2.4, and I run Ultra. I've got a newer card, but that's the only plus.

    1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 230M - For i7 Processors

    I haven't tried Ultra, but on a mix of high and ultra, I run SotIS at ~18 fps. -.-

    That's a bit of a slap in the face, isn't it? I will never, no matter how good specs it has, use a laptop to play games. Their performance seems erratic.
