hi all, would someone please clarify this for me, as I am away from my SC2 right now.

Terran's siege tank does friendly fire. if I rush my roaches into his mineral line, and it is within his siege tank range, would the tank blow the SCVs up as well?

and is there any other units in SC2 does friendly fire too?

^ Yes, his siege tanks would hurt his SCVs. It wouldn't kill them that effectively though because usually the SCVs are spread evenly over the mineral line.

No other attacks in the game deal friendly fire damage, but some spells (hunter seeker missiles from terran ravens, and psionic storm from protoss high templar) will damage or kill friendly units within it's effect range.

Personally anything that explodes i think should deal friendly fire, Might actually make Zerg not just group 100 banelings in one big group then

Baneling friendly fire wouldn't work as it would be impossible to control since banelings do that splash in melee range. For a melee range unit with friendly fire splash you'd need something like tons of hp and armour and the unit to charge in alone and not with the rest of your army which wouldn't work again either.

As for your mineral lines being in range of the siege tanks, that should usually not happen since that is bad positioning of the tanks(You want them to guard for ground forces and not drops and the likes, use other units for that)
